The FASANOC Sponsorship and Marketing Programme is critical to Resource Mobilisation, Partnerships, Communications, and Relationship Management activities contributing to sustainability of operations and programmes. It is managed and overseen by the Sponsorship and Marketing Commission (of the same name).
The tangible evidence of its achievement is visible in the portfolio of Partners that FASANOC has engaged with over the years and to date. While FASANOC benefits from sustained support offered by the Olympic Solidarity Programme from the IOC and ONOC, its sustainability is also linked to its own commercial ventures through the Suva Apartments city accommodation option, and through opportunities leveraged from both Government and Corporates.
In terms of activities, the Sponsorship and Marketing Programme engages in startegic communications through maintenance of its online vsibility through the FASANOC website and its social media channels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It also bears the responsibility of designing and implementing the FASANOC Communications Strategy and Communications Plan which are appendages of the FASANOC Strategic Plan 2021 - 2024. FASANOC is currently in strategic planning process and these will be finalised after the strategic plan is completed.
Over the years, FASANOC has engaged in two approaches to partnerships: first being its sustained partnerships which occur via the IOC, Olympic Solidarity, ONOC, and among corporates, Fiji Times Limiuted which continues to give space for print media on a weekly basis and enables a reach of several hundred thousands across Fiji and abroad through its epublication.
The second being largely event-specific or cause-specific partnerships engagement which comes from Government and Corporates. Government support is regular to regional and international outings such as when Team Fiji participates in editions of the Olympic, Commonwealth, and Pacific Games. Corporates also rise to the occassion in such engagements. Both support Sport Awards where the best of Fiji sport are rewarded for oustanding achievement.
Some corporate partners who have provided support to FASANOC include Government's Ministries of Youth and Sport; Education; and Health and Medical Services among numerous others. Among Corporate Partners, FASANOC benefits from support from Vodafone Fiji, Nike, BLK, Asco Motors. Tattslotto Fiji, Star Printery; Fiji Times Limited; J R White; and Fiji Water Limited.
