The Medical Commission of FASANOC is inviting expressions of interest from Doctors,Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Mental Skills Trainers, Dieticians and other Sports Medicine Practitioners, interested in joining a Voluntary Medical Team, to work in an honorary capacity with Team Fiji training squads for the Olympic Games, which will be held in Tokyo,Japan, from 24 July – 9 August, 2020.
Medical volunteers will be expected to work with National Federations in the lead up and preparation of Team Fiji to Tokyo 2020. A final travelling Medical Team to accompany Team Fiji to the Games will be selected from this Voluntary Medical Team.
Please note that team officials, including medical personnel, to these Games will be restricted by the number of athletes who qualify for the Games.Interested practitioners must:
have prior experience with Team Fiji to past Games have relevant medical qualifications
have successfully completed the Pre-Hospital Immediate Care in Sport (PHICIS) Level 2Course or equivalent
be available to travel with Team Fiji if selected.
