FASANOC Safeguarding Policy

At the Fiji Association of Sports & National Olympic Committee (FASANOC), the safety, dignity and well-being of every athlete and participant are our highest priorities. Guided by the International Olympic Committee’s standards and best practices, our Safeguarding Policy establishes a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, abuse, and bullying in all forms, whether physical, psychological or online.

This policy applies to everyone involved with FASANOC, including athletes, coaches, staff, volunteers, contractors and partners. We are committed to maintaining a healthy, inclusive sporting environment built on teamwork, respect and the Olympic values of Friendship, Excellence and Respect.

FASANOC’s Safeguarding Policy outlines clear definitions of harassment, abuse, bullying and neglect and provides straightforward procedures for reporting and investigating any incidents. All complaints are handled confidentially and fairly, ensuring due process for all parties involved. Sanctions are applied proportionally and in accordance with the law, with a commitment to continuous education and prevention through our Athletes Commission and community engagement programs.

If you have concerns or wish to report an incident, please contact FASANOC. Together, we can ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone in Fijian sport
